Allergies in and outside the Middle East according to optometrists
Even if we face rarely hay fever in the Middle East in UAE or Saudi Arabia, especially when travelling during the current summer month of August, we face tearing eyes and a clogged nose from the pollen in the air.
According to optometrists, especially when wearing contact lenses, we are especially sensitive to this irritation.
The severity of allergy seasons vary from one year to the next based on weather trends but they seemto be getting longer. People prone to seasonal allergies, such as hay fever or pollen, are all too familiar with itchy, scratchy eyes.
