Everybody in Europe and Eastern United States was able to see the so called "Blood Moon"
But how does the Moon get it's red colour when it should not be visible at all because of the shadow of the earth?
The answer is the athmosphere of the Earth which blocks high energy rays (blue / violet) and lets through red light waves.
