Especially in the Middle East area, eye doctors and optometrists are warning increasingly of the uninterrupted usage of mobile phones and other screen devices.
Mobiles, Tablets, Laptops. We all spend countless hours infront of devices which present us with content, entertainment and distraction.
Our eyes can handle most of these tasks brilliantly - for some time. After extended time infront of the screens, eye strain kicks in and can lead to headache, itching and sometimes even redness and dry eyes.
Therefore, optometrists and eye doctors usually recommend to stick to the 20 - 20 - 20 rule to avoid eye strain.
Every 20 minutes, look at something 20 meters away for 20 seconds. In this way, the eye can relax for some time without getting overworked.
